New Student Orientation 

Students entering 5th Grade or that are new to the building can come in on August 20th from 9 am-11 am to tour the school. If you have any questions, please contact the main office.


 Student Demographic Update / Re-Registration

All parents and guardians of students entering grades K-4, 6-8 and 10-12 in the 2026-2027 school year must complete a demographic information update in Home Access Center. For students entering grades 5 and 9, additional steps are required. Please visit the Demographic Update / Re-Registration website for instructions. The deadline is Friday, April 17.


 

Working Papers

  • Working papers are issued from 8:00AM to 2:00PM in the Counselors Office. To expedite the process, please plan in advance by contacting Mrs. Shuster in advance.


  • Athletics: Sports Physicals & Eligibility

    Middle school participation in interscholastic sports begins in 7th grade. To be eligible for tryouts, student athletes must meet the following requirements before the first day:
  • 1. Academic Eligibility – Students must meet district academic requirements. Eligibility is assessed weekly by building administration. Students with more than one failing course score are considered ineligible for the week.
  • 2. Physical Examination – Before participating in any practices, scrimmages, or contests, the student must complete the Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (CIPPE) form.  
  • Sections 1 & 2: Completed by parent/guardian
  • Sections 3-6: Completed by student and parent/guardian
  • Section 7: Completed by an Authorized Medical Examiner (AME)
  • Physicals may not be dated earlier than May 1. Once completed, they are valid until the end of the school year.
  • POQUESSING FOOD PANTRY

  • The Poquessing Food Pantry is currently open and accepting donations.  Gift Cards are the most useful.  Increments should be $25 or less.  The following physical items are always appreciated: peanut butter, jelly, snack/breakfast bars, pasta, pasta sauce, soups, pancake mix, pancake syrup, rice, macaroni and cheese, ketchup/mustard, fruit cups/cans, apple sauce, breakfast cereals, snack items, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, dental floss and mouth wash.  Families in need of supplemental assistance may reach out to Mr. Hunt or Mrs. Lenahan.  All requests are strictly confidential.
