Hello and Welcome,
On behalf of the entire Poquessing Middle School faculty, it is my pleasure to welcome both new and returning students and their families to our school community!
As a proud graduate of Neshaminy High School, I feel a deep sense of homecoming each morning when I walk through the doors of Poquessing. It is my commitment to provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth for every student. I also take great pride in cultivating a positive and empowering workplace for our exceptional faculty—ensuring they are supported and inspired to be their best each day.
At Poquessing, we expect all students to SOAR by being:

We believe in teaching and modeling these behaviors in all settings to help our students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
The Poquessing team is deeply dedicated to the Neshaminy School District’s mission: to empower every child to become a productive citizen and a lifelong learner. Our faculty and staff regularly go above and beyond, providing countless opportunities for students to succeed beyond the academic curriculum. We recognize that not all children start from the same place, but we firmly believe in every child’s potential to grow and achieve.
Middle school is a time of discovery—and our teachers serve not only as educators but also as advisors, coaches, and mentors throughout that journey. We are proud that over 80% of our students participate in at least one co-curricular activity each year. This strong involvement is a key driver of Poquessing’ s positive and inclusive school culture.
Another core expectation we hold for all members of our school community—students, faculty, and myself—is simple but powerful: CHOOSE KIND. Kindness is the foundation of a respectful and connected learning environment.
As we move through the school year, I encourage you to be active partners in your child’s education. We cannot achieve our goals without the vital support of parents and guardians. Please stay connected with our teachers, counselors, and PTO. If you ever have a question or concern, no matter how small, my door is always open.
