It is exciting to have your child involved in the Poquessing Music Program. Your continued support of your children and the arts combined with the commitment and hard work of the directors will ensure a wonderful musical experience for your child. The Poquessing Middle School Music Boosters Organization is composed of parents, guardians, and caregivers of musicians in the bands, choruses, and orchestras for grades 5 through 8. The main function of the booster organization is to support the instrumental, choral, and musical programs. The Music Boosters also help parents offset the costs associated with the program. Booster meetings are the best time to find out what is going on with concerts, musicals, and trips. The Booster meetings are scheduled on the first Wednesday of every month, (unless otherwise noted), at 7:00 PM and are open to all families. We welcome YOUR help - please attend the meetings. If we all do a little, we can accomplish a lot! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact one of the music teachers. You can stay up to date by attending the monthly Booster meetings and/or joining our Facebook page "Poquessing Music Boosters" to get rent announcements, information, or post questions.
We encourage you to become involved in any way possible, large or small. There are always plenty of opportunities to help, no matter what your ability or availability. We look forward to meeting and working with you.
